Stayed at River Lodge a few times now. Always well presented, clean, spacious, comfortable and accommodating. Garden area is private and well maintained.
Angela is always at hand to help with any queries that may arise. A brilliant place to relax and unwind.

Stayed at the Woodland Lodge for a long weekend. The place was immaculate and surprisingly very spacious. Comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, a BBQ and outdoor dining area plus the hot tub. Some welcome treats left out on the dining table for the guests. Everything you need from cutlery to pots and pans is there so no need to bring anything with you.
5 minute walk down the road, there is a lovely local pub which opened on the day we arrived.
Highly recommended place to stay for a quiet weekend with family and friends.

We absolutely loved staying in woodland lodge. We didn't want for anything and appreciated the attention to detail: thank you for the welcome pack, tea & coffee, well stocked kitchen utensils, comfortable beds and spacious living area. We loved the area, beautiful walks and starry sky. The hot tub was used regularly but not sure whether we had inadvertently fiddled with the control but could hear the cycle from ensuite bedroom of an evening, this wouldn't deter us from staying again though ! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Angela for your hard work maintaining these lovely lodges x

This is our third year of spending a long weekend at the River Lodge and as previously had a fantastic time. Lodges are always immaculately clean, comfortable beds and furniture.
If you want to chill out and there’s a big spa pool, great outside dining are and barbecue if needed. All this with a wonderful countryside view.
Angela is a friendly and helpful host and I would recommend the lodges to anyone looking for break away from it all.

Stayed here over the new year and honestly couldn't ask for a nicer break. Living space was immaculate and the cherry on top was the hot tub on the deck, with such a gorgeous view. If you're looking for quiet and natural surroundings this is the perfect location. The host was an absolute gem too 🥰
